  • Abstract This study suggests a process-based model for the effects of water availability, temperature and light on tree population spread in a Mediterranean environment. The methods include representation of spatial variation in seed availability, topographic attributes, presence of predators and temporal variance through a modelling of changes in temperature and rainfall.
