  • Olim et al. proposed a general law for describing the instantaneous shock wave Mach number as it attenuates while propagating through dust-gas suspensions. The governing equations describing the propagation of a planar shock wave through a dust-gas suspension, which were formulated by Olim et al., were solved numerically. Unlike Olim et al. whose numerical simulation was based on the flux-corrected-transport technique, the numerical simulation of the present study was based on the random choice method. (from Authors)
