  • Dislocation relaxations in deformed niobium metal have been studied over a wide range of frequencies by several investigators employing the torslon-pendulum technique at low frequencies (10-3-103 Hz)(1, 2, 3, 4, 5), the resonance techniques at intermediate (KHz) frequencies (1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10), and the ultrasonic waves pulse-echo technique at MHz frequencies (ii).
