  • Seasonal and annual precipitation vary considerably in Arizona, primarily because of topographic influences. Precipitation data have been analyzed by several investigators over the years. Arizona has been subdivided into precipitation zones, and seasonal and annual precipitation isohyetal maps are available from several sources.
