  • Abstract The peculiarities of the density-of-states near the Fermi energy of the degenerate ferromagnetic semiconductor (FMS) due to the electron-magnon interaction are considered. They lead to asymmetric anomalies of the current-voltage characteristic Īƒ (U) of the metal- insulator-degenerate FMS tunnel junction at small bias. It is shown that the measurement of the quantity dĪƒ (U)/dU enables one to investigate the magnon density-of-states.
