abstract

  • In this paper we study a free boundary problem arising in chemotaxis. As it is well known, chemotaxis is the motion of the individuals of a (cellular) population induced by the gradient of a chemical substance, often secreted by the members of the same population. The phenomenon plays as important role in ecology, in morphogenesis and in many other biological processes (see eg Ref. 1).
