  • Ultradisperse diamond (UDD) is one of the few carbon products that can be produced in large amounts by the detonation method [1, 2]. It has been recently shown that UDD consists of crystalline diamond core of about 45 A covered with a surface structure from sp2-hybridized carbon atoms.
