  • It has been said that" the Termination of Pregnancy Law is an important and necessary social law that deals with an individual's problems at times of distress and ways of assisting the individual. Therefore it is a humane and social law."(Kadman, 1979). Is this really so? The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the work of the Termination of Pregnancy Commissions and the quality of the decision-making procedure in an interdisciplinary team and to understand the level of efficiency guaranteed by the system, in reaching a just and fair decision. This research evaluated two different professional decision-making interdisciplinary teams of the Termination of Pregnancy Commission.
